Adoption process

At Puppies from Hale, we are committed to breeding healthy, happy puppies that are placed in a home that will treat each puppy as part of the family throughout their entire life. In order to ensure that every puppy finds the perfect home we require a Puppy Application submitted to us via email. 

After the application is received and reviewed, we will reach out for a deposit to reserve a puppy. Submitting an application does not commit you to purchase a puppy.

Puppy selection typically follows a first come first served basis by order of deposit. However, preference may be given to reputable breeders searching for a puppy to join their breeding program, and/or preference may be given to individuals or organizations searching for a service dog or show dog. Breeders, service dogs, and show dogs will have an additional fee for full AKC registration.

For the health of the puppies, we do not allow visitors before the puppies are vaccinated and cleared by our vet, therefore, puppies will be picked at the time of pick up.  

We value our customers and are committed to providing ongoing updates while we have your puppy including temperament once their personalities start to show.

Deposits will reserve your spot in line for a puppy and will go towards the total purchase price of the puppy. However, the breeder may provide preference to buyer's using the puppy for breeding, service dog, or show dog.

Deposits are $500 and non-refundable unless the buyer is unable to select a puppy from the current litter due to the  placement as a breeder, service dog, or show dog. Please note: You will be charged Washington State sales tax of 9.5% for your total purchase when you place your reservation.

Puppy application is required and must be accepted prior to reserving a puppy.  

Puppy pick up will occur around 8 weeks of age after a clear bill of health from our vet, first round of vaccines, dewormer and microchip, Each puppy comes with a health guarantee, limited AKC registration, a small bag of food for easy transitioning, and a small care package.

We will schedule puppy pick ups where you will meet the puppies and spend a little bit of time with them before making your selection.
